Peeled millet contains dietary fiber, and dietary fiber is known to have a positive impact on the digestive system. Millet is an alkaline cereal, which means that it helps maintain normal pH levels in the body, and is easily digestible.
Peeled millet can be prepared as morning porridge in which we add dried fruits and nutcracker fruits, too, millet fits into desserts such as muffins. It can be used as a side dish, mixed into puree or cooked in stews to give a dense nutritious texture.
For a simple and healthy lunch, we recommend adding chopped vegetables, tofu prepared to taste and sauce to the cooked and chilled peeled millet.
Ingredients: 100% peeled millet.
Instructions for use: Soak peeled millet in water 8-24 hours before preparation. Cook in water in a water-to-millet ratio of 2.5:1.
